Summer fun!

Beach Fun Recap ☀️

Okay, let’s get something straight: I’m a fall girl through and through. And don’t even get me started on Christmas—I live for the holidays. Period. 🎃🎄

But there’s something magical about that first real summer day. You know the one—when the air feels warmer, the days stretch longer, and everything just feels lighter. After a long winter, it’s like the world exhales.

This summer, I made a promise to myself: make memories. Good, messy, sandy, loud, beautiful memories with my favorite people. And we did just that—with a beach trip that was totally worth every grain of sand we’re still finding in our bags.

Now, I don’t know if I’m the only one who thinks this way, but you’ll probably decide by the end of this if we’re on the same page or not.

When we first started planning, I had this dreamy vision of salty air, sun-kissed cheeks, and a blissful reset. I thought, Ah yes, vacation.
HA. BIG HA.

Let me just tell you—prepping for a beach day with toddlers is harder work than any 9–5, honey. We packed it all—coolers full of Lunchables, turkey & cheese sandwiches, Coca-Colas, sunscreen, sand toys, fans, towels, tents, chairs… and of course, the speaker.

By the time we lugged our overstuffed wagon to the edge of the water, we ALL needed a nap.

But then… that breeze hit. Toes in the sand. Kids laughing. Friends talking. Cold drink in hand. That moment made it all worth it. It was exactly what my heart needed.

If you’re on the fence about planning the beach trip with a toddler….. do yourself a favor and DO IT!
